STANDALONE TRAIL MAP
GENERAL COMMENTS: April 23, 2024
Nearly all of BLM's Croy Trails are ready for use! On Hidden Valley you will find some small wet sections and a little snow hanging on to the switch backs on the far end of the loop, but all are passable. You will find snow on the north aspect of Two Dog between the upper junction with Centerline and to Bullion rd. This section will hold snow for a little longer than the other trails and is not likely passable at the moment. When you encounter extended sections of snow or mud, please use your best judgement and turn back if you cannot pass over the section without causing damage to the trail. Otherwise you will find mostly dry conditions.

Wood River Trail Coalition reports that the WRTC's Greenhorn Improvements Project in collaboration with the USFS KRD is going great! They are finishing work on the new reroute, and it is scheduled to open this weekend. Be sure to check their home page for full details.

BLM/BCRD's Silver Lining trail is ready for use! Keep an eye out on the north aspect as you drop into Quigley for greasy & snowy sections until it fully drys out. The full Quigley Loop, along with BCRD's Quigley Trails Park are all open. BLM's Belle & Vue trails on both sides of Slaughterhouse are clear and ready for you!

Reports have come in that Sun Valley's White Cloud trails are drying out on the sunnier aspects, but still holding snow in anything north facing or shaded.

When you head out for your adventures, feel free to report back anything you see that you feel should be shared. Email BCRD Trails Coordinator Ashley Knox at aknox@brcd.org. Enjoy the trails!
Wildlife is present. For information on recommended best practices when wildlife are encountered, visit this site's Trail Alerts Section.

As always, let's not forget our manners and trail etiquette no matter where we are or how we recreate. A quick reminder- bikers yield to hikers, and hikers and bikers yield to horses, then downhill yields to uphill. If in doubt, just yield to each other and meet someone new while you talk about how lucky we are to be in such an amazing place. Bottom line is to be kind to each other and enjoy being out on the trails.

Continue to look to this site for up to date trail info. Please be aware of changing conditions and considerate of trail conditions when you head out for your adventures.

If you have questions, comments, concerns, or reports about the trails please email BCRD Trail Coordinator Ashley Knox (aknox@bcrd.org), or phone 208/578-2273. For area land management agency contact info, go to the Trail Alerts section of this site.
