Description / Access Information
Wanderer's Way - Heidelberg Hill Trail: There is no parking at the west-end base of this non-motorized trail. Please use the Adams Gulch Trailhead if you are driving to your outing.

Depending on who you speak to, you might hear this trail referred to as Wanderer's Way, or Heidelberg Hill. The Wanderer's Way moniker predates the Heidelberg Hill name. It was named Wanderer's Way many years ago, by the family who owns the property that the west end of the trail crosses. Heidelberg Hill is a nickname that became popular because a German-style hotel called the Heidelberg Inn used to operate near the base of the trail. The hotel was torn down in 2003, but the nickname persists.

The old road provides an up-and-over link to the Adams Gulch system of trails. Portions of the western, lower section of the trail have been converted into some sweeping turns that help slow descending cyclists as they approach the bottom of the hill; where lots of neighborhood children play. Please descend safely, and really take it easy as you approach the bottom, or others using the trail. Please keep dogs on leash, and pick up after your pet.
