Croy Creek Trail:
This short trail is rather technical, In places it is narrow and its tread is tilted out quite a lot. It's a fun little trail that is especially useful in avoiding a curvy and hilly section of Croy Canyon Road.
This trail travels across a short portion of the southeastern flanks of the Rotarun ski hill. It provides a connection from the Croy Trailhead to Croy Canyon Road. It intersects with Croy Canyon Road near that road's intersection with Rodeo Drive. For those riding west from Hailey to access the trails, this little trail allows people to avoid travel on a particularly twisty and hilly section Croy Canyon Road, as they make their way to the BLM's Croy Trailhead. Its also a nice way to depart the trailhead area if you want to ride back toward Hailey.
Directions: The east end of this trail is found near to the intersection of Croy Canyon Road and Rodeo Drive, about 2.5 miles west of Hailey. The west end is accessed from the BLM Croy Trailhead, which is less than a mile further west of Rodeo Drive. To reach the Croy Creek Trail from the BLM Croy Trailhead, head north through the TH parking lot and exit the parking area through the narrow fence opening. Bear right to immediately reach the low end of the Bullion Connector Trail. Soon, take the first right to climb up Two Dog (this section of Two Dog, near the trailhead, is nicknamed My Dog - watch for others who may be descending on this section of trail). After a few turns, and at the top of a brief climb, stay right where Two Dog/My Dog heads left and continues uphill. Croy Creek Trail is straight ahead.
