Description / Access Information
Lick Gulch Trail #218:
Useful and important trail. The north end, near its intersection with the 199 Trail, the intersections get a bit tricky, so pay attention and try not to get turned around in the Poison Flat area. See this site's map of the trail and consider the following:

On the map page for the trail, click the toggle in the corner of the map to "Satellite," then zoom in to the spot on the map marked with an information symbol. In "Satellite" view you will have an improved view of this intersection of trails. It is easy to get off of the main Lick Gulch-Poison Flat trail here. The old route goes down into Poison Flat and gets ditch-like before dead-ending in a wet seep. Take the rerouted section that stays higher and to the south side of the Poison Flat area.
